My last production,The Ballad of Emmett Till (Fountain Theatre) was honored recently with four LA Stage Ovation Awards in the following category: Best Production, Best Director, Best Acting Ensemble, and part of the Best Season award for the Fountain Theatre. Emmett Till has also recently been nominated for four Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Awards, including Production of the Year and Best Acting Ensemble. The award season comes to an end this year with the Los Angeles NAACP Theatre Awards, in which Emmett Till has been nominated for five awards, including Best Acting Ensemble.

Currently, I am conducting workshops in theatre arts, audition techniques and playwriting with elementary, middle and high school children. Recent projects include directing seventh grade students' original plays for the Center Theatre Group's Middle School Playwriting Project and directing student performances of Romeo and Juliet for The Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles' Will Power to Schools.
